Today we receive ashes. Today we remember who we are. Today we begin again.
There’s something about Ash Wednesday that always feels both sobering and hopeful to me. The smudge on our foreheads is a reminder of our frailty, but also of God’s mercy. We are dust. But we are loved dust. Redeemed dust. Called dust.
And I don’t want to walk through Lent alone. I’d love for you to join me for a live prayer session on Wednesday, February 25 at 7:30 pm ET.
