🌸 Blooming in PEACE: letting Christ calm your heart this Easter
Meet Jesus in the garden, bake up a treat, and find peace in wisdom from Fr. Jacques Philippe
Happy Easter! The tomb is empty. Jesus is risen. And yet—our hearts still wrestle with anxiety, distraction, and unrest.
This Easter season, I’m thinking about how easy it is to celebrate the Resurrection with our lips while still carrying heavy burdens in our hearts. But Jesus didn’t rise from the dead just to offer us a future only in heaven. He came to bring us peace now.
Real, lasting peace isn’t found in our circumstances finally working out. It’s found in the presence of Christ, who walks with us through every storm and speaks the words we most need to hear: “Peace be with you.”
Below I’m sharing a Scripture reflection on meeting Jesus in the garden, a simple Easter recipe to enjoy in a quiet moment, and some TL;DR inspiration from one of my favorite books by Fr. Jacques Philippe. Let’s slow down and reflect together on the peace of the Risen Lord—how to receive it, how to protect it, and how to share it with others.
