☀️ Choosing GRATITUDE: a daily habit of the heart

Gratitude often feels like something we should do, but not always something we naturally feel. Life has its ups and downs, and sometimes it can be hard to find the good when we’re facing struggles.

But what if gratitude isn’t just about counting our blessings on a good day, but about choosing to notice God’s goodness even in the difficult moments?

I’ll admit—this is something I’ve been learning. When I intentionally shift my focus from what’s missing or hard to what’s present and good, I start to see God at work, even when it’s not obvious. This week, we’re diving into the life of St. Rita of Cascia (May 22) to find out what she can teach us about gratitude, writing sweet notes of thanks, and revisiting a gorgeous book that inspires us to pause and be grateful. We’ll reflect on how simple, yet profound, it is to offer thanks in both the joyful and challenging seasons of life. Let’s practice seeing God’s grace in the small moments—and discover the peace that gratitude brings.

🌹 Here’s Your Mini Retreat

This week’s reflection explores how St. Rita teaches us to give thanks not just for the good things, but in the middle of the hard ones.

📝 You’ll also find:

– A creative gratitude activity to do after Mass
– A quiet spiritual challenge to shift your perspective
– A beautiful book recommendation to deepen your practice
– A prayer for learning to trust God with what feels impossible

✨ This mini retreat is your invitation to pause, reflect, and receive.
