The swirling, dramatic figures reflect the awe and mystery of this moment. Imagine Mary’s surprise, and even fear (remember “she was greatly troubled”) when the angel appears suddenly at her side. And yet still, Mary’s humility and submission stand out, reminding us of her unwavering faith in God’s will.

God wants to free you from everything that holds you back from full connection with him. Fear, sin, past wounds, or lack of trust—he wants to proclaim your freedom from them all. What will be your answer to his call to faith and freedom?
