Welcome to your weekly moment of grace.

Have you ever caught yourself coasting spiritually, just going through the motions, saying the right words, but not really paying attention? I have. More than once. In Mass. In prayer. Even in my closest relationships.

The truth is, it’s easy to get distracted. Life is full of noise, full of things demanding our time, attention, and affection. But Jesus calls us to something different. “Be watchful,” he says. “Stay awake.” Not because he wants to keep us anxious or afraid, but because he knows how easily we drift when we’re not anchored in him.

This week, Girlfriends is your mini-retreat into the virtue of vigilance—a wake-up call wrapped in grace. We’ll reflect on what it means to live alert to God’s presence, share the inspiring life of St. Josemaría Escrivá (feast day June 26), and begin a simple practice of night prayer.

Come take a deep breath, reset your focus, and discover the peace that comes from staying close to Christ. The full experience is waiting for paid subscribers—but even a small step can bring clarity, conviction, and renewal.

Let’s start together.
