What a start! So many of you have signed up for the Change Your Heart challenge.

God is already doing good work in you. In the comments, Jennie says:

I just listened to the Lectio Divina for days 1 and 2, and it was wonderful. This method of prayer may be just what I need to quiet my distracting thoughts and help me to truly spend time in prayer with Jesus.

That, my friends, is what it’s all about!

So here’s your second, simple assignment.

Throughout the remaining days of this challenge, make time for quiet. I know you’ve got a million things going on, and it’s not easy, but the audio recordings are designed to make it simple. Spend at least 5 minutes each day, sitting in quiet prayer and opening your heart to what Jesus wants to give you.

One small step, and then Jesus does all the work.

Jesus promises us so many blessings if we focus on his Sacred Heart! In this week’s podcast, we reviewed the 12 promises Jesus makes to those devoted to his Sacred Heart, as revealed to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, and here’s just one of them as a reminder:

I will bestow abundant blessings upon all their undertakings.

I love this one because we all have goals in life and things that we care about deeply—especially our relationships and our work. I like thinking about these things as “undertakings” and asking Jesus to bless them.

What are your undertakings today? How would you like Jesus to bestow abundant blessings upon them? Bring them to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
