š„ Igniting ZEAL: letting your faith set the world on fire
Ignite your heart for God with St. Catherine of Siena and some sweet and spicy meatballs
Itās easy to fall into āauto-pilotā in our spiritual lives. We can go through the motionsāprayer, Mass, workāwithout much heart behind it. And yet, God doesnāt want lukewarm love from us. He wants passion. Fire. ZEAL.
Zeal isnāt about being loud or doing moreāitās about loving God with our whole hearts and allowing that love to inspire everything we do. Itās about showing up with courage, commitment, and a deep desire to serve.
This week Iām sharing a reflection on what it means to be on fire for God, a brief bio and beautiful video about St. Catherine of Siena for her feast day (April 29), and, just for fun, we bring the heat with a recipe for Firecracker Meatballs. Letās explore what holy zeal looks like in everyday life: in our prayer, our relationships, and our vocations. Where is God asking us to fan the flame? How can we live with greater boldness for God?
