So I listened to this on my drive into work this morning. If I had had a cup of coffee, I would have felt like Danielle was sitting in my kitchen and we were talking about life and getting through it. There were a lot of great takeaways. A couple of things struck me though. 1. Her commentary on “the only thing to do is pray”. Yes! It made me reconsider how I go about it. I plan on changing my words to “this is one thing that I get to pray on”. It’s more relationship building with Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Love it. 2. A while ago I had a longterm friendship that ended badly. Upon reflection, it was an unhealthy relationship that was really unbalanced. I’m glad I can look back on it for what it was. 3. The gift of the Surrender Novena. I am going to start one tonight.
This was a very thoughtful, in depth discussion about handling family drama. There were several excellent points to consider, especially where our own involvement could be found faulty or uncharitable. Danielle gave several practical examples to avoid entanglement when life gets messy or tricky.

Thanks, Danielle!

Thank you! I found this so helpful especially the surrender novena suggestion.
Yes! The surrender novena is such a beautiful prayer!
