My daughter will be a senior in high school next year and I can’t believe it! She’s never been away from home really outside of going to my mother in law’s home. I don’t know how I am going to do it! She on the other hand will be just fine!

Wow - that made me cry. So many parallels - so many experiences that you so beautifully write about. We don't get that much snow in England though and my tree gets stuffed back Into box and sat on to tie it up! I'm counting blessings. X Thank you Danielle. X

Love this post, Danielle. I’m living with empty spaces too (Grace got married New Years Eve… only one left at home). Thanks for those encouraging words.

My now 22-year old had the same Barbie Princess costume. It’s a humbling journey.

That's beautiful Danielle. I too am an empty nester. I love when everyone is together. It's blissful chaos. We have 4 grandchildren now. It's the most wonderful blessing we have received.

So beautiful! I am just entering into the letting go phase, as my oldest is 18 and a senior in HS. I’ve gotten a glimpse into how hard it is going to be to let go and trust in God and my son. Grateful for any and all wisdom you can share with us!

This spoke to me. My oldest is only 12, but every stage each child passes is a little sad…but so grateful to have front row seats to see who they are becoming. As we have heard before…it’s ’bittersweet’! Such an honor 🩷
