I love this❤️So many times society and our world is so negative about older kids and parenting etc etc Thus truly changed my perspective to one of gratitude for all of the gifts my older kids offer and gratitude for how far we have come! Thank you Danielle for this beautiful inspiring message! I loved it and shared with my parents of littles❤️
This is so comforting, I laughed out loud when I read those sayings about just wait till the teenage years and big kids, big problems because it’s exactly what I’ve been told a few times. As much as I enjoy the baby toddler giggles, it would be weird to not want them to grow up and become different people. A lady just told me at target the other day that she misses the stages of baby toddler because they’re 14&17 and now want nothing to do with her. Phewie stuff like that is so hard to hear!
Thank you! As a mom in the thick of it with 3 kids 7 and under, I needed to hear this. I get discouraged when I hear “oh cherish those moments; they’ll only be little so long and then they’ll be teenagers”.
We’re in the middle years and I absolutely agree that motherhood at every stage is “a sacred unfolding of grace”! That’s been my experience.
I was so worried about the teen years but it’s been so fulfilling and rich too.
I love that, Mandy. Yes, teens are the BEST!

Yes, Lisa! You are so right. It would be weird to not want them to grow up. Of course it's bittersweet, but let's not forget the SWEET part. :)
