I've been avoiding reading this until now....guess I didn't want to feel my feelings. Definitely been stuffing them. I miss my son Gabe like crazy, but he's doing well and I'm so proud of him.

Oh Angie, you have been in my thoughts! Praying for you and for your son as you both adjust to change. <3

It's so hard to bring our babies to college, isn't it? My second is studying in Austria (at Franciscan) and I miss him so much my heart hurts but I would never want him to be held back. I admire you guys for letting your kids go and grow and for your kids picking good colleges! My 3rd one wants to visit Ave, so we may be joining you there soon :)

Oh yes! Beautiful reflection! I’m right there with ya. May the grace of our Lord be with all of our kids on their new seasons so far from home.

A beautiful prayer! Thank you, Shauna.

Hi Danielle, I enjoyed this post, as always. I'm currently in the phase of raising two teenage girls and would love to have your insight on how to navigate this time while also maintaining a close relationship. Did you already cover this topic in your book or on a podcast episode that you could point me to? Otherwise, maybe a suggestion for a future post or episode 🙂. Thanks.

I did do a podcast on teens a few years ago, but it's probably time to revisit that topic. I will add it to my list for a future podcast. Thank you for the idea!
